Key Message PillarsTo ensure the community moves from "knowing" to "doing," our awareness campaign focuses on four actionable areas:Waste Management & Plastic Reduction:Ending the burning of plastic, which releases toxic chemicals.Promoting community-led "Clean-Up Days" to prevent drainage blockages that cause flash floods.Reforestation & Tree Stewardship:The "Plant One, Protect One" initiative: encouraging every household to plant indigenous, drought-resistant trees.Education on how trees act as windbreaks and prevent topsoil erosion.Water Stewardship:Encouraging household water harvesting (collecting rain from rooftops).Protecting local berkads and communal water points from contamination and excessive evaporation.Alternative Energy:Demonstrating the benefits of solar energy for lighting and cooking to reduce the demand for charcoal (the primary driver of local deforestation).3.
