Empowering Lifesavers: First Aid Training at Gabiley Primary School We are proud to highlight our Student Strengthening Program, dedicated to teaching essential First Aid skills to the young learners of Gabiley. Our mission is to transform students into confident first responders who can act quickly when every second counts. What our students are mastering: Emergency Response: Checking vitals and the "DRSABCD" safety protocol. Injury Care: Managing cuts, burns, and stopping heavy bleeding. Fracture Support: Learning how to apply splints and slings using everyday materials. Heat Safety: Recognizing dehydration and exhaustion to keep peers safe in the local climate. Why it matters: By equipping these students with life-saving knowledge, we are building a more resilient and prepared community.
